What’s in a Name?

October 12th, 2010 : · 3 Comments ·

Well, for someone who was born in the UK, I guess my knowledge of current English slang is a bit lacking.  :)

Apparantly according to some of the comments and many emails I received, the word ‘bonk’ means something quite different in the UK than it does in the US. Actually it really doesn’t mean anything here other than a sound you might hear if you hit yourself on the head with a frying pan.

So… Bookabonk is now officially LinkitPro..

I hope the name gave a few of you a chuckle  !!

It could be called fruit striped gumball links ….I don’t mind LOL.. as long as it works…And if it’s from the makers of Linkvana, I have a feeling it’s going to be good! Cant’ wait…

The name did give me a chuckle. Especially because it has been one of those days when to “bookabonk” might have been a good thing. Might have helped relieved some stress LOL… Can I “bookabonk” for about 10pm tonight??? Sorry, I didn’t mean to lower the tone of your excellent blog Dave, but I just couldn’t resist it.
